บทคัดย่อ

Chemical reconstitution will be conducted on the early cretaceous samples of fossilized materials recorded in Sao Khua Formation of Mesozoic sediment at Phu Noi locality (site A), Song Dao district, Sakon Nakon province, Northeast Thailand in 2001. They were initially identified as coprolites by Mr. Paladej Srisuk. Seven types of coprolites were described and appeared to be of carnivorous and herbivorous vertebrates origin based on their structural patterns and the predominance contents. Here, we aim in attempt to further analyze by distinguishing the carnivores from herbivores coprolites, using the rehydration solution of trisodium phosphate. The origin of their producers can be identified based on the resulting colour of the fluid and the degree of transparency.
