Monitoring Survey of the Distribution of Herpetofauna in Khao Soi Dao Wildlife Sanctuary, Chanthaburi Province, with a Note on Faunal Comparison with Cardomom Mt. Ranges

บทคัดย่อ
In this resurvey of herpetofauna in Khao Soi Dao between January and June 2008, 51 species of reptiles and 25 species of amphibians were found with three new records of snakes: Pareas hamptoni, Amphiesma khasiense and Ovophis convictus. The presence of some endemic reptiles and amphibians in the region was confirmed: Lycodon cardamomensis and Quasipaa fasciculispina. The diversity of herpetofauna in the study area compared to that in the Cardamom Ranges indicates that these areas are continuous territories.
