บทคัดย่อ
The species is endemic to peninsular Thailand (Das 2010) It was first discovered in San Yen, Khao Nan National Park, Nakhon Si Thammarat (Chan-ard. et al. 2008). It has so far only been recorded from this high montane locality (M. Cota pers, comm. 2017) at around 1,300 m (Chan-ard et al. 2008) despite some survey work in surrounding areas. Listed as Data Deficient on the basis that this species is known only from a high elevation locality within a national park and, although no threats have been identified at present, it is at plausible future risk from climate change as it appears to be a cloud forest obligate. More information is however needed on the potential impacts and timeframe of climate change in this area, as no published projections of climate impacts in this region exist. If this region is not determined to undergo strong climatic changes, the species is likely to be unthreatened.
