บทคัดย่อ
Description of a new agamid Üzard, Ptyctolaemus phuwuanensis sp.n.from Thailand. The similarity to the monotypic P. gularis (PETERS, 1864) is given by the three parallellongitudinal folds on each side of the throar. The new taxon differs from P. gularis by the depressed body, the granular or very small triangular dorsal and lateral scales, the smooth ventrals, the reetangular gular sac of the males, the transverse gular fold, the presence of femoral pores and the presence of a low dorsal crest in males. The new species was caught on boulders at the foot of a flat-topped sandstone mountain, between 200 and 380 m elevation in dry evergreen forest. lts exceptionally Jong toes assist it ro cling to the sandstone surface with ease. This is the first record of the genus Ptyctolaemus from Thailand.
