บทคัดย่อ

Amphibians are animals that Thai people have had very little interest in studying, in comparison to other animals; however, their function in the ecosystem is no less important than any other animal group. As tadpoles that live in the water, they are collected by people for food in water sources. As adults, they are predators, eating insects, producing an energy transfer in the ecosystem, and in turn, they are the main food for many animals. It is essential that Thai people should know about amphibians from their region and other regions, to preserve them, so they can use them in the future. This book presents to the public how abundant and important these animals are to our ecosystem.
